The Tender Coconut Water of Love

Image
Movie : Anuraga Karikkin Vellam Year : 2016 “Love comes and goes, but even when it goes, it leaves something good in its wake.” These are the words Raghu says to his son Abhi when his love leaves him. It definitely sounds a little cliche, but it’s a truth that many people fail to realise. It took Raghu years to realise the importance of affection and fondness in a relationship. He definitely cared for Suma, his wife, but never showed the affection she always wanted from him. What it took to overcome this inertia was the return of Raghu’s lost love in his life. What Raghu needed was someone with whom he can talk freely. And when Nandini, his lost love returns, he gets that missing piece of his life. Abhi is exactly the same as his father. He doesn’t show affection. On the other hand, Eli is super affectionate. She cares too much about Abhi. This affection and possessiveness always irritated him. And it was his only reason to break up with her. Eli reminds us a little of Dimple from Ladi

A small insecurity developes into something big. Slowly, that insecurity of him started to control his actions. At first, whatever he does is just because of his doubts. But later on, whatever he does is to prove that his doubts are true. For him it wasn’t just a doubt anymore, it was a reality. And he has to prove it somehow. For Sreeni, Ragini was a complex subject. No matter how much he tried, he couldn’t understand this woman. She was so much different from other women. At first this difference charmed Sreeni. But later on, the same difference made her difficult to understand for him. And this created a fear and insecurity in Sreeni. The biggest fall down in Sreeni’s life was a car accident. Naina & Aditi : The Uncelebrated Friendship

Image
Movie : Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani(2013) Naina and Aditi.. An underrated friendship.. Their bond, love, care ... All this kind of lost in the wide range of life lessons the movie taught us. While the friendship of Bunny-Avi-Aditi, Bunny-Avi and the love of Bunny-Naina are being celebrated, the friendship of Naina and Aditi is getting lost in between. From the first meeting itself, it was evident that the chance of a strong friendship between these two would be very rare. While one is an extreme introvert, the other is an extreme extrovert. And that was the reason for not believing in the probability of their friendship.  While Aditi had two close friends with whom she can share anything, Naina was all alone. The only friendly interaction she had was with Aditi and her friends, Bunny and Avi. Even after having two close friends, Naina was the only one she remembered when she badly needed a friend. But why! Why Naina!  Naina was the only one to notice the feelings Aditi had for Avi. And Nai
