MAYANADHI (2017)




Mathan... As the saying goes, you can love him, hate him but can’t ignore him.. It’s suits Mathan perfectly. While his childish behavior makes you hate him, his caring and love for Appu makes you love him. Even in a crucial situation, a run from the police, all he could think about was Appu, his love. Even after a series of rejection from her, Mathan still goes to Appu. Because she was the only person he loves, the only person he cares about. Even though she rejects him, Mathan knew the fact that she loves him very much. Maybe that’s what made him keep trying.. Maybe that’s what gave him a hope of fairytales and happily ever afters..

Aparna, Appu is a very realistic person. She knows at bottom of his heart, Mathan is a great guy. But she also knows how to survive. Being realistic is the only way to achieve her dreams. And for that, whenever he came, she had to push him away. But the love of Aparna for Mathan, never died. After he went away forever, all she could think about was him.. His presence.. And once again it proves that love is not easy, not always a fairytale, not always a happily ever after.. Love is just love..
