Hi friends.. So i am back with some other thoughts.. Let me ask you something, what is your view on marriage?? I am asking you this question because, many people are stuck with this so called "The Great Indian Marriage System". I don't know how many of you are from India and therefor how many of you are aware of this. The famous Indian author Chetan Bhagat has already given a perfect explanation for this through his book 2 states : The story of my marriage
The explanation is as follows,

Love marriages around the world are simple:

Boy loves girl. Girl loves boy.

They get married.

In India, there are a few more steps :

Boy loves Girl. Girl loves Boy.

Girl’s family has to love boy. Boy’s family has to love girl.

Girl’s Family has to love Boy’s Family. Boy’s family has to love girl’s family.

Girl and Boy still love each other. They get married.

So as he said, the love of two souls isn't enough for marriage. There are so many stages that they should need to get passed. Now if you just explore further, some cases are more complex. That is, the boy or girl is being forced to marry someone whom their parents choose. But this case is slowly but definitely vanishing as the young generation is learned to raise their voice..

The most strange scenario is that, girls should get married as much earlier.. I mean, if they turned 22,then they should get married soon. But if it is a boy, they don't care this much. If a girl is still unmarried at an age of 26, it is like she did some crime. I told you guys that I am just 20. So many of my friends are already married. And a few are already engaged.

Now if you just look around, you can see that the society is very brilliant  giving speech about great things to change society. But when the time arrives to make those things practical, they barely even care. The dreams of a girl are not considerable things here. The only thing to consider is her age and her marital status.

There are so many families are there in which the parents give importance to their daughter's dreams, their opinion. But sadly a huge part of the society is still stuck with this old mindset.

I know, so many of you feel weird as you read this. But this what exactly happens. I want to know your views on this. What you guys think?? Is this kind of a mindset is still relevant??
